Wake up Suse linux from ideal mode

If Suse machine has locked then

Wake up  the linux /SUSE machine if its goes to sleep mode

press ALT+CTRL+f1 :- open it with command line format

Press ALT+CTRL+f7  Open it with GUI format


Firewall in suse

You can use Yast tool to open a port ranges under Suse Linux.

            Start YaST (type yast command prompt)

            Select Security and Users

            Select Firewall.

            Click Allowed Services

 Open the port in suse 

/etc/service

search for a particular port in suse
